The virus warning is a false positive. Shozam is a clean program; there are no trojan or virus infected files in our program.

Assuming your computer was not previously infected, the most likely scenario is that your antivirus program is giving a "false positive", meaning that it has identified a file that it "thinks" looks like a virus. Make sure you have the latest update for the virus definitions for your antivirus program. If the problem persists, please contact the provider of your antivirus program to for more details on how you can place that file on a "white list" so the antivirus program will not try to disable it in the future. They should also be able to test the file and confirm for you that the file is indeed "clean" and presents no risk to your computer.

Otherwise you may need to turn off the antivirus during the installation and running of Shozam.

You can check for false positives by scanning files online at: http://virusscan.jotti.org/
